I’ve written patient education for over 20 years for a variety of organizations such as Micromedex, Kaiser Permanente, Children’s Hospital Colorado, Change Healthcare, and most recently Mayo Clinic.

I’ve included a snapshot of my most recent patient education brochures—one of which recently won a silver National Health Information award. The topic of this brochure was Autism spectrum disorder: A guide for teens. To create this printed project, I collaborated with a managing editor, copyeditor, medical illustrator and Mayo Clinic clinical experts.
